Association Instituts Carnot Association des instituts Carnot
Les Rendez-vous CARNOT: an efficient formula which reflects the commitment of the instituts Carnot to go out to businesses and territorial authorities. In 2010 Les Rendez-vous CARNOT, a national and international business convention, will be held in Lyon and will rely on the dynamism and innovation and partnership research support initiatives of the Rhône-Alpes Region and of Grand Lyon.

Grand Lyon Grand Lyon
"Thanks to its University, its five poles of competitiveness, and its structured and dynamic collaborative networks, the metropolis of Lyon has always been sure it can master the innovation chain completely from research to industrial applications. Grand Lyon has been able to create the conditions for permanent interactivity between the innovation players and to offer each one a framework encouraging the development of his activities. Therefore, I am very happy to welcome in Lyon Les Rendez-vous CARNOT, an event which will be able to rely on the favourable breeding ground we have been able to establish and which can only strengthen the dynamism of the local economic fabric."
Gérard Collomb, Senator-Mayor of Lyon, President of Grand Lyon / Web site

Rhône Alpes Region Rhône-Alpes
The Rhône-Alpes Region is proud to welcome the 2010 edition of Les Rendez-vous CARNOT, an event which fits in perfectly with the regional innovation strategy. The Rhône-Alpes Region has made innovation in all its forms, technological, organisational and social, one of the main lines of its development. For that reason, it has increased the initiatives which improve the dialogue between research and the economic fabric. The regional players rely on a high-performance and structured innovation ecosystem through: 13 instituts Carnot, 14 research clusters, 15 poles of competitiveness (of whom 3 are international), 10 Rhône-Alpes economic clusters… and a large regional development and innovation agency: the ARDI.
