Association des instituts Carnot
'Les Rendez-vous CARNOT' are a great opportunity for companies to meet their future clients and partners in terms of innovation. They illustrate, in a clear and intense manner, the continuing year-long efforts made by the Carnot Institutes' network for the benefit of industry players and companies. In 2011, 'Les Rendez-vous CARNOT', a business convention with a national and international reach, will be held in Lyon. For the second year in a row, they will build upon the Rhône-Alpes and Grand Lyon dynamism and supporting initiatives dedicated to both research partnerships and innovation.

Grand Lyon
"Thanks to its University, its five poles of competitiveness, and its structured and dynamic collaborative networks, the metropolis of Lyon has always been sure it can master the innovation chain completely from research to industrial applications. Grand Lyon has been able to create the conditions for permanent interactivity between the innovation players and to offer each one a framework encouraging the development of his activities. Therefore, I am very happy to welcome in Lyon 'Les Rendez-Vous CARNOT', an event which will be able to rely on the favourable breeding ground we have been able to establish and which can only strengthen the dynamism of the local economic fabric."

Région Rhône-Alpes
The Rhône-Alpes Region is proud to welcome the 2011 edition of 'Les Rendez-vous CARNOT', an event which fits in perfectly with the regional innovation strategy.
The Rhône-Alpes Region has made innovation in all its forms, technological, organisational and social, one of the main lines of its development. For that reason, it has increased the initiatives which improve the dialogue between research and the economic fabric. The regional players rely on a high-performance and structured innovation ecosystem through: 13 Instituts Carnot, 14 research clusters, 15 poles of competitiveness (of whom 3 are international), 10 Rhône-Alpes economic clusters… and a large regional development and innovation
